Dish Management

Add New Dish

The process of adding a new dish involves multiple steps across several tabs: Dish Name, Dish Price, Dish Images, and Recipe.

Initial Setup (Dish Name)

The first step in adding a new dish requires entering basic information:

  1. Thumbnail Image: Upload a photo of the dish by clicking the "CHOOSE PHOTO" button

  2. Dish Name: Enter the name of the dish in the text field

  3. Save Button: Click "Save Dish And Go Next" to proceed to additional details

  4. Navigation Tabs: Use these tabs to move between different sections:

    • DISH NAME (current)

    • DISH PRICE (price configuration)

    • DISH IMAGES (additional photos)

Dish Images

After creating the basic dish profile, you can add multiple images:

  • Upload dish photos by clicking "CHOOSE PHOTO"

  • Add image titles for better organization

  • Save each image using the "Save" button

  • Images appear as a gallery with labels (e.g., "Seasonal Special", "Nutritional Info")

  • Delete unwanted images using the trash icon

Pricing Configuration

Dish prices

Set various pricing options for different portion sizes:

  • Enter Dish Type (size/portion identifier)

  • Set Price in the currency field

  • Save changes with the "Save" button

  • View existing price configurations in the list below

  • Edit or delete price options using the action buttons

All Dishes

All dish

The All Dishes screen displays the complete menu in a grid layout, providing a visual overview of all dishes available in the system.

Key Features:

  • Dish Cards: Each dish is presented in an individual card showing:

    • Dish thumbnail image

    • Dish name (displayed prominently at the top)

    • Status indicator (Active or In-Active)

    • Order count showing number of times ordered

  • Visual Organization:

    • Dishes are arranged in a responsive grid format (3 columns)

    • Clear visual separation between dishes makes browsing efficient

    • Consistent card format provides unified appearance

  • Management Actions:

    • Quick edit buttons appear on hover (for selected dishes)

    • Status is visually indicated through labels

    • Order tracking helps identify popular and unused menu items

  • Navigation:

    • Access this screen through the sidebar menu under "Dish → All Dish"

    • Add new dishes via the "Add Dish" option in the sidebar

    • Organize dishes by categories using the "Dish Categories" option
